The Cool Heat Horse Rug sits off the horse’s back so the hair can lift and lower naturally, helping retain or release heat. Other rugs squash the hair and trap heat and sweat. The Cool Heat horse rug lets air flow over the whole body, keeping skin healthier and the horse more comfortable.

Convenient

Ideal for the three cooler seasons. Use as an occasional rug when weather turns bad or to keep your horse clean. Works across a wide temperature range.

Can use on a wet horse

You can scrape excess moisture off your horse and put this rug on while wet. The soft insulators lift the rug away from the body so air circulates all over, letting the horse wick away moisture and dry naturally.

As a lifelong horse lover my horse’s comfort is a priority. When I discovered the Cool Heat Horse Rug 8 years ago I was thrilled to find a rug that aligned with my beliefs around blanketing. From my sensitive Thoroughbred Arthur, to hardy Clydesdale Cross Ziggy, this rug ticks all the boxes.
